I started using a body cushion (2yrs ago after 12 yrs practising without) under my receiving partner in prone because so many had difficulties lying with their heads turned. The body cushion is easire on their necks and allows better access to a straight cervical spine. However it also has limitations in terms of simplicity and stretching.
How do you have people with neck stiffness lie in prone?
I enjoyed watching your video as it reminded me and encouraged me to practise healthy relaxed receptive shiatsu posture. I do sometimes forget it and position myself in a way that I use my strength, but not my hara, particularly treating neck.
It was a very clear presentation. Will be happy to watch more 🙂
Thank you for your gift to us, with warm regards, Lenka
Wonderful, Russel. It is great to see again the Basic movements and learn about your work. I liked your reminder to practise in the field in front of you and the positioning, / repositioning…an important reminder! Thanks a lot. Ina

Thanks Lenka, Feeling it is time to give back to the shiatsu community after having received so much.
